This Or That

Do at the start of a session, generally with a group that knows each other slightly. Bring people into the centre of the room. Tell them that you are going to name a pair of words. As you name them, you point to one side of the room, then the other. People must decide which one of those words they most identify with, and move to that side. Example: 'red hot' (point to your left) - or 'cool blue' (point out to your right). There's always one person who stays in the middle. Encourage them to make a choice.

Sample Words:

Fast car/slow train; sunny beach/snowy mountain; martini/espresso; leather/lace; bump/grind; etc.
